Job description

 

Boutique International Private Bank with practices in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Florida is expanding in the South Florida market and is seeking a Private Banker or perhaps a team to be based in their Aventura offices. This individual must have strong business development skills and could come from a private bank, RIA or family office.

 

The ideal candidate will be experienced in sourcing and manage a portfolio of high net worth clients, acting as their trusted advisor for financial products and services. This individual will have a great deal of intellectual curiosity and strong sense of commitment to the bank and provide superior service to clients in order to develop and maintain long-term relationships.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience selling to HNW & UHNW client base and leveraging connections to expand portfolio.
  • Achieve fee generation and asset under management goals.
  • Dedicated to excellence in client service and regulatory compliance both internal and external.
  • Strong Investment knowledge
  • Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures.
  • Well connected to the local community
  • Excellent communicator – able to communicate our client’s story and value proposition
  • Entrepreneurial spirit; self-starters
  • 3+ years’ experience relationship management experience in the South Florida market
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • FINRA Series 7 and 66 or equivalent FINRA exams
  • State Insurance License for Life, Health and Variable Products
  • Possess effective verbal and written communications skills, high level of intellectual curiosity
  • Proactive “doer” mentality who is creative in their approach
